While methods and tools are useful for collaboration, they are not of much use when groups do not know how to have meaningful conversations and reach robust decisions together. Every day, even in situations of great uncertainty.
Teams need to be conscious about the importance of trust, vulnerability and mindfulness for any kind of excellent collaboration and need to learn
how to create environments and safe spaces in which diverse viewpoints can thrive and are not seen as threat. Humor, awareness of one’s own limited understanding of the other person, self-management and an open mind are factors that help create such environments.
